Xuxa Meneghel had a special appearance in the video for “Modo Xuxa”, where she was graced by singer Gloria Groove with references and characteristics from the 2000s.
In the video, Gloria ventures into the universe of vintage electronic games, such as “Guitar Hero”, and presents an evil intergalactic version of Xuxa. The character Txutxucão and the feared presenter doll were not forgotten in the clip.
The song features a mix of trap and rap genres, also present in the album “Futuro Fluxo”, released by Gloria in November last year. In a press conference, the singer underlined the importance of Rainha dos Baixinhos for the universe of Brazilian pop and drag queens. “Xuxa is an icon, a legend… It’s my way of honoring all this history,” she summed up.
