One of the top DJs of the 2010s, who released hits like “Wake Me Up,” “The Nights,” “Waiting For Love” and “Hey Brother,” Avicii had personal items donated by his family for a charity auction. The event takes place just over six years after the artist’s tragic death.
Last Monday, 19th, Stockholm Auctions Office announced how the Swedish DJ and producer’s belongings will be auctioned in person and online to support the eponymous charity. The auction is called The Avicii Collection and will feature 267 items, such as shoes, clothing, musical instruments and career memorabilia.
The in-person auction is scheduled for October 1st (same date as the online auction), at the auction house Nybrogatan 32in Stockholm, Sweden. The items will be unveiled on September 6, with a local public viewing from September 20 to 24.
