Group formed in the 60s performs in the country between September 19th and 27th, visiting five cities
The American R&B group The Stylisticsvisits Brazil this September for the tour Falling In Love With My Girl.
In total, there are five dates between the 19th and 27th, with stops in Brasília, Santos, Curitiba, São Paulo and Rio de Janeiro – a show in Goiânia was also scheduled, but ended up being canceled due to logistical issues. More information about dates and tickets is available here.
The group brings classics such as “Betcha By Golly Wow”, “I’m Stone In Love With You”, “You Make Me Feel Brand New”, “You Are Everything” and many others.
In addition to the hits that dominated the charts in the 1970s, the band’s run also includes the original members Airrion Love and Herb Murrelltogether with Jason Sharp.

About The Stylistics
The group was formed in 1966 in Philadelphia from the union of members of singing groups rivals from schools in the region.
After touring local clubs around Pennsylvania, in 1970 they recorded “You’re a Big Girl Now”which became the biggest hit in several cities on the East Coast of the United States.
The legendary soul producer, Thom Bellwas hired to produce the group’s first self-titled album, with six hits, including the classics “Stop, Look, Listen (To Your Heart)”, “You Are Everything” and “Betcha By Golly Wow”. Bell also produced the following two albums, Round 2and Rockin’ Roll Babywhich included more hits, such as “I’m Stone In Love With You” and “Break Up to Make Up”.
The one that became the best-selling song and the signature of The Stylistics, “You Make Me Feel Brand New”first appeared on the album Rockin’ Roll Babybut a new version was released on the following album, Let’s Put It All Togetherand reached second place on the chart Billboard Hot 100.
Despite becoming big stars in the early 70s, The Stylistics never lost their relevance. In 1980, they met with Thom Bell for a new job.
Fast forward several decades and the original members Murrell and Love They have remained friends since high school. They continue to travel the world sharing their group’s musical legacy.
