Linkin Park singer dies in new music video

“Over Each Other” marks the first significant highlight of Emily Armstrong’s vocals in the band

The band Linkin Park has released the video for “Over Each Other,” their third new song since announcing their return. The recording also marks the first significant vocal highlight from Emily Armstrong, the group’s new lead singer, who this time does not share the microphone with Mike Shinoda.

The video was recorded in South Korea, shortly after the band’s concert in the country on September 28, and features actress Kong Seong-Ha (“A Daily Dose of Sun”). The story revolves around a car accident between Emily and Seong-Ha, from which only the Korean girl survives. It’s directed by Joe Hahn, the band’s DJ who previously directed iconic Linkin Park videos like “Numb” and “What I’ve Done.”

Part of the new album

The new song is part of the album “From Zero”, which will be released on November 15th. This will be the band’s first full album since “One More Light” (2017), the last work before the death of singer Chester Bennington. In addition to this track, the album will also feature previously released “The Emptiness Machine” and “Heavy Is The Crown”.

On the day of the album’s release, the band will play in Brazil. Linkin Park will perform in Sao Paulo on November 15 and 16, at Allianz Parque, with their “From Zero” world tour.
