MPB icon shares record of commemorative tour that toured the country
More than 50 years on the road, great classics released in his voice and a growing passion for Brazilian popular music: Simone. The veteran has traveled the country with more than 30 shows to celebrate his fifty-year career.
Completing the project, the artist announces this Friday (22), an unprecedented version of What will it beimmortalized with his voice as part of the film Dona Flor and her two husbands in 1976.
Recorded live at Rio de Janeirothe song is part of the album Simone – 50 years (Live), which will arrive on music platforms in December via the Biscoito Fino record label.

The composition of Chico Buarque obtained a new arrangement with the surprising presence of the lead guitar of Philip Coimbraunder Fabio Sákeyboards Chico Liradrums Vittorio Cabral and percussion André Siqueira. Production is Marco Nero.
“I feel victorious for having reached 74 years of age with even more passion for what I do! These over 51 years on the road bring me a lot of gratitude for the important goals achieved and only increase the desire to work on new projects”accounts Simon with animation.
The artist also spoke about what it was like to collaborate with his new band and how this influenced the reinterpretation of the song: “I love this version of ‘O Que Série’, which I play in what I call my kindergarten. My band, made up of very talented young people, brought a very original touch to this Chico Buarque classic which I had the privilege of recording in 76. It’s a very special addition to my discography and reflects the spirit of the 50 anos Ao Vivo project very well.”
In August, classic album ‘Face to face’by Simone, was released on translucent vinyl
On August 16, the record label Universal Music released a new vinyl edition From Face to facesinger Simone’s fourth studio album. The album, now available on Umusic Store at the price of R$229.90was released by EMI in 1977 and now has a new version clear vinyl.
