Classic music video for the song “Smells Like Teen Spirit”, the opening track of the Snowmind (1991) album, reached 2 billion views on YouTube
THE Nirvana hit a record this week that put him in the same “club” Guns n ‘Roses and Linkin Park. For the first time, a band clip reached 2 billion views on Youtube.
The feat was in charge of the classic video of “Smells Like Teen Spirit”opening track of the album Snowmind (1991). There are only four records of its type with this amount of reproductions. Namely:
- Linkin Park – “Numb” (2.5 billion)
- Guns n ‘Roses – “November Rain” (2.2 billion)
- Linkin Park – “In The End” (2 billion)
- Nirvana – “Smells Like Teen Spirit” (2 billion)
The next to conquer this number should be “What’s up”from 4 non blondesand “Bohemian Rhapsody”from Queen. Both clips record 1.9 billion executions on the platform.

With simple but impactful scenes, the video of “Smells Like Teen Spirit” It was recorded on August 17, 1991, at a studio in Culver City, California, United States. The board was in charge of Samuel Bayer.

He entered the top 10 of several others, including the United States, the United Kingdom, Mexico, Italy, Canada and Germany. In US territory, he received diamond certification for more than 10 million copies sold.
