The fifth New Star Weekend festival will run at the Rosa Khutor ski resort from September 24 to September 27, event organizers told Lenta.ru.
Organizers said the theme for this year is The Matter, representing both physical matter and the reason attendees gather. The theme draws on natural elements from past festivals, including water from Waterfall, air from Air, and fire from Inner glow.
The event will feature six music and DJ stages across the resort. The main Alfa Vibes stage will sit in the center of the Mountain Olympic Village, while the Echo Stage on Flag Alley will host electronic music. The Escape Stage will feature visual effects and sound, the Solar Stage will operate at an altitude of 1,600 meters, and the Sunsetoshnaya stage will cater to mountain sunset views. Organizers plan to release the full artist lineup later.
Sports and Entertainment Programs
A dedicated sports cluster will feature the flagship Alfa Party Hike, skateboarding competitions, and the final round of an 11-city Russian skate tour ongoing since May. The sports schedule also includes a cycling race, daily runs, hiking, and outdoor yoga sessions. A lecture hall will host speakers from the sports, creative, and business sectors to share industry experience.
More than 10,000 visitors attended the previous festival edition. Last year's musical lineup featured performances by Big Baby Tape, Bond with a Button, Biicla, and Hadn dadn.
