Russian director Sarik Andreasyan has addressed complaints about the film The Last Warrior. Kolobok, clarifying that he had no involvement in its creation. In a social media video, Andreasyan, known for The Tale of Tsar Saltan, said viewers sent him angry reviews despite his lack of connection to the picture.
The filmmaker urged users to verify information before criticizing him and asked people to stop writing to him. He explained that he directs only three movies a year rather than 300, adding that viewers can check credits or websites to confirm who created a film.
Online backlash and ratings
The Last Warrior. Kolobok debuted in Russian theaters on August 6 and met with widespread online criticism. On the review aggregator Kinopoisk, the film holds a user rating of 2 out of 10 points.
