Channel Seven host Sonia Kruger suffered a red carpet wardrobe mishap when sequins fell off her dress at the 66th TV Week Logie Awards.
The television presenter, who hosted red carpet coverage alongside Dr Chris Brown, left a mess on the carpet as her gown started disintegrating in front of the broadcast cameras.

Multiple sequins detached from the train of her dress while she was filmed walking alongside Brown on the red carpet, leaving a trail of debris on the rug.

Despite the wardrobe issue, the 60 year old presenter showed off plenty of skin in a plunging bronze gown featuring a tassel skirt. The outfit flaunted her cleavage and toned legs, which she paired with sky-high heels, matching makeup, and her platinum blonde hair worn out in soft waves.

Potential Overseas Move for Seven Star
The red carpet appearance could be Kruger's final Logies ceremony following reports that she may be preparing for an international career transition. According to reports by The Australian, the Gold Logie winner has recently been assembling a professional showreel designed to pitch herself to television networks in the United States and the United Kingdom.
The reported job search comes as Seven West Media continues reviewing its entertainment slate to reduce production costs, raising questions over the future of several major reality television franchises. Kruger currently remains the face of flagship Seven programs, including singing contest The Voice and reality series Dancing with the Stars.
While The Voice returned to screens this year, Media Diary reports that Seven executives have not yet committed to producing another season in 2027. The network is reportedly weighing the program's future due to its substantial production budget and expensive international licensing agreement. If The Voice is not renewed, it would leave Kruger with fewer high-profile hosting positions at Seven.
Recent Travels and Background Context
Kruger recently fueled speculation regarding her international ambitions after sharing images on Instagram documenting a trip to Los Angeles. Captioning photos from her travels, she praised the airline's premium cabin service, writing: "Whirlwind weekend. SYD>LAX in the best possible way... The Polaris experience with United Airlines is next level!" Alongside another post, she joked: "Pretending this is my normal life!"
Kruger has been one of the most recognisable personalities on Australian television for more than three decades. In 2025, Daily Mail revealed that her future at Seven was uncertain following major operational changes at the network. Those changes included reality franchise Big Brother switching to Network 10 in 2025 with a rebooted format and host Mel Trancia. Her husband, Craig McPherson, also stepped down from his role as head of news and current affairs at Seven West Media in April 2024.
In addition to her network commitments, plans regarding the $6.9 million Sydney residence shared by Kruger and McPherson previously generated controversy among local neighbours.
