Stephanie Cayo Reveals Bond With Ex-Husband Chad Campbell

Peruvian actress Stephanie Cayo has revealed she maintains a close relationship and regular phone contact with ex-husband Chad Campbell during her relationship with Alejandro Sanz.

Speaking in an interview with Spanish magazine ¡HOLA!, the actress confirmed that she and American businessman Campbell still speak frequently and discuss their current romantic partners, adding that they adore each other.

Stephanie Cayo confirmó su relación con Alejandro Sanz en 2026, tras cinco años de su divorcio de Chad Campbell.

The disclosure comes alongside revelations that Cayo's history with Spanish singer Sanz, the artist behind Corazón partío, began prior to her 2018 wedding to Campbell. Cayo married Campbell at age 29 before the couple divorced in 2021, and she later confirmed her relationship with Sanz in 2026, five years after her divorce.

Cayo, the youngest of the Cayo sisters, is well known for her role in the Peruvian telenovela Travesuras del corazón and currently stars in the Netflix series DOC. Sanz is an internationally recognized Spanish singer and songwriter.

Maintaining ties with former partners

The topic arose when ¡HOLA! asked Cayo whether she stays friends with her ex-partners. The actress responded that she preserves affectionate bonds with several former partners, noting that she has worked professionally with some of them years after their breakups and cares for them deeply.

Cayo added that while circumstances prevent ongoing contact with certain exes, any distance is not due to a lack of desire on her part, stating she would be happy to stay in touch.

Future plans for marriage and family

Reflecting on her personal life, Cayo stated that she still believes in the institution of marriage despite her past divorce. She shared that she would like to form a family and have children in the future.

However, Cayo explained that if she marries a second time, she would prefer a ceremony different from her first wedding, describing it as less traditional, more intimate, and extra special, noting that the details would be discussed when the time comes.
