Peruvian businessman Víctor Angobaldo died on Wednesday, August 5, 2026, after a vehicle carrying him and several passengers ran off the road at kilometer 128 of the Panamericana Sur in Cerro Azul, Cañete. The 63-year-old was transported to Hospital Regional Rezola, where medical staff confirmed he arrived without vital signs.
Actress Patricia Alquinta confirmed his death during an appearance on the television program 'Eso Háblalo'. She stated that national show business was in mourning.
Angobaldo first gained widespread public attention in 2009 following a romance with former Sport Boys cheerleader Shirley Cherres that was featured on 'Magaly TV'.
