Fernanda Cristina, mother of footballer Vinicius Junior, has posted photos with Virginia Fonseca celebrating the second birthday of toddler Jose Leonardo. The mother of the 26-year-old Brazilian player shared the warm family portraits on Wednesday, giving followers an inside look into the milestone event.
In the pictures, Fernanda posed beside the 27-year-old internet celebrity and held the smiling two-year-old boy on her lap. She affectionately captioned the social media post, writing that it was two little years for Juju.
Although Vinicius Junior was unable to attend the celebration in person due to his commitments in Madrid, Spain, the Real Madrid forward made his presence felt online. He reacted to his mother's post by leaving several red heart emojis in the comments, while friends and supporters praised the close bond and affection Fernanda displays toward the young boy.
Vinicius Junior plays as an attacking winger for Real Madrid in Spain's La Liga and represents the Brazil national team. His demanding European schedule keeps him based in Spain during the football season, where he competes in domestic league fixtures and European tournaments.
Virginia Fonseca has built one of Brazil's largest online followings as a digital creator and businesswoman. Her relationship with the footballer has attracted close attention, with fans eagerly following interactions between the two families.
Spider-Man theme and New York decorations
The lavish party was put together after weeks of intensive preparation by well-known event decorator Tana Lobo. The party venue was designed to replicate the urban setting of New York City, which serves as the famous home of Spider-Man, the toddler's favourite superhero character.
At the centre of the party room, an enormous custom cake became the main visual attraction for guests. The towering confection featured a detailed model replica of the Empire State Building, surrounded by several miniature figurines of Spider-Man scaling the famous skyscraper.
To keep the children entertained throughout the afternoon, Virginia and her former partner hired a live stage performance of Galinha Pintadinha, the beloved Brazilian children's musical franchise. A team of costumed party animators also entertained the young crowd with games and musical activities.
Co-parenting and family celebrations
Jose Leonardo is the child of Virginia from her previous relationship with 28-year-old Brazilian singer Ze Felipe. The former couple also share two older daughters, five-year-old Maria Alice and three-year-old Maria Flor, both of whom took part in their younger brother's superhero celebration.
During the festivities, a short video clip featuring eldest daughter Maria Alice quickly gained viral traction across social media platforms. In the recording, the five-year-old appeared to be playfully trying to bring her parents together at a specific point during the birthday gathering.
Virginia and Ze Felipe announced the end of their marriage on May 27, 2025. The former couple communicated their separation amicably on social media, emphasizing that they would remain friends to raise their three children together.
Ze Felipe is an established recording artist in Brazil, known for his modern sertanejo hits and his musical lineage as the son of legendary country singer Leonardo. At the time of their split, the pair stressed that they would work together to raise their three children in a supportive environment, and both parents reunited amicably at the birthday bash to celebrate their son.
