Gal Gadot returns Fast & Furious
Long before I became Wonder Woman, Gal Gadot took his first steps in Hollywood in Fast and furious 4 (2009). Gisele’s interpreter then already crossed the road to Dom (Vin Diesel). But it was probably with the next episode that her character really impressed. Along with Dom and his band, she will have been very helpful in reaching a monstrous robbery in Rio. Only with Fast & Furious 6we thought we should say goodbye already.
At the end of this work, the Fast Family begins chase an airplane. Grabbing onto a race car and holding Han’s hand, he decides to go for it sacrifice to save him. In any movie, that would mean character death. But in the Fast & Furious saga it therefore seems possible to fall several meters on an airstrip without having too many consequences.
Indeed, after three films (not counting the spin-off Hobbs and Shaw), Gal Gadot actually did it his return to Fast and furious X ! We managed to find out during a short scene at the end of the movie. When Letty (Michelle Rodriguez) and Cipher (Charlize Theron) escape from a secret base in Antarctica. Then they stop in front the appearance of a submarine presumably owned by Cipher. And it is therefore Gisele who comes out in front of Letty astonished like the spectators…
A return imagined before Fast and furious X
This is not the first time the saga Fast & Furious Do bring a character back from the dead. Han, for example, had to be killed at the end of Tokyo Drift (2006). But since the film didn’t actually show his body, a sleight of hand script kept him in the franchise.
The return of Gal Gadot had therefore long been hoped for and it will have been necessary to wait Fast and furious X to see her again. Yet this return he could have happen first. This is what Michelle Rodriguez said variety, before Vin Diesel in turn confirms this information. The actor made it clear the scenes had been filmed for other films, but without being kept for editing.
We had shot other stuff a long time ago. But who wouldn’t have resisted as well as in this final. Winking like that is very tricky. Because you want to have these great talents, but at the same time you have to be very careful to maintain the emotional state of the audience at the end of the film. So that’s what you have to juggle.
The wait was long, but it should be worth it. No doubt the return of Gal Gadot will be an important element from the sequel to the “finale” of Fast & Furious. At least inside Fast and furious 11and potentially in 12.
