To avoid being recognized in the crowd, Kevin Bacon hired a professional makeup artist to create a very detailed disguise.

Known for acting in films such as Footloose – Crazy Rhythm (1984), The Attack of the Cursed Worms (nineteen ninety), The Man Without a Shadow (2000), The World After Us (2023) and X-Men: First Class (2011), Kevin Bacon He is one of the most famous actors of his generation. In fact, one day, he went out in public in disguise, but he hated the experience.

During an interview with Vanity Fairthe 65-year-old artist revealed how he came to hire a professional makeup artist to help him blend in with the crowd. His disguise features fake teeth, glasses and a different nose. A similar look to the one he wears in MaXXXine (2024), sequel to Pearl (2022) and X – The Mark of Death (2022).

“People were kind of pushing me around, not being nice. No one said, ‘I love you.’ I had to wait in line to, like, buy a fucking coffee or something,” the actor recalled. “I was like, ‘This sucks. I want to be famous again.'”

Furthermore, Bacon compared his character in MaXXXine to his role in JFK – The Question That Won’t Go Away (1991): “Because of Footloose – Crazy Rhythm (1984) and the films I was making, the way I was perceived was very much like a pop star.”

So I went in and Oliver [Stone, diretor de JFK] said basically the same thing as You [West, cineasta de MaXXXine] said, ‘Are you gonna do it?’ I said, ‘Sure.’ Next thing I know, I’m in Louisiana, hanging out in these hardcore leather bars.
