Spanish singer Amaia Montero has shared a concert photograph reflecting her ongoing reunion tour as lead singer of pop group La Oreja de Van Gogh.
The vocalist from San Sebastian returned to the stage with her former bandmates nearly two decades after departing the group, ignoring online criticism and social media trolling to perform for thousands of fans.

Montero posted the black and white image on her social media accounts, captioning the moment as an X-ray of a dream. The photograph shows the artist standing before an enthusiastic audience as she leads them in singing the number-one hits that established the band in Spanish national pop music.
Supporters flooded the post with comments expressing affection following her most vulnerable period. Followers wrote that those who support her would never lower their arms and noted that they had waited 18 years to experience the moment.
Other fans commented that her supporters stood with their hands in the air, declaring that she represented everything beautiful that could happen to the world of music. Commenters also told Montero that she was making history once again, thanking her for her strength and love while describing her return as a shared dream across an expanding universe and noting how meaningful it was to see her healed wings.
Tour dates across Spain and Latin America

The band is currently traveling across Spain on their Tantas cosas que contar Tour, which has already stopped at multiple points across the country. La Oreja de Van Gogh still has an extensive itinerary planned through the end of the year, including two upcoming appearances in Madrid.
Both Madrid performances will take place at the Movistar Arena, a venue that served as a turning point for launching the tour. The band will finish their special year with a final Spanish concert at the venue on December 28.
Following their 2026 reunion concerts in Spain, the group will travel to Latin America in March 2027 to connect with their international fanbase across six scheduled dates.
The Latin American leg begins on March 10, 2027, at the Coliseo General Rumiñahui in Quito, Ecuador. The band will then perform at the Movistar Arena in Bogota, Colombia, on March 12, followed by a show at Costa 21 in Lima, Peru, on March 14.
The tour continues at the Antel Arena in Montevideo, Uruguay, on March 17, before moving to the Movistar Arena in Buenos Aires, Argentina, on March 19. La Oreja de Van Gogh will wrap up the six-date schedule at the Movistar Arena in Santiago, Chile, on March 26.
La Oreja de Van Gogh formed in San Sebastian in the mid-1990s and grew into one of the most successful pop groups in Spanish music history. Montero served as the original lead singer before departing for a solo career, making the current tour her first major stage reunion with the group in almost twenty years.
