Three and a half thousand participants, despite the bad weather with endless rain and wind – such a significant “quorum” was gathered by the popular festival, the title partner of which was the Mir payment system. There were 5 races in four days: extreme Rosa Peakcommand Rosa Questcostumed Rosa Carnival and two routes through local natural beauties – Rosa Green Trail And Rosa Red Trail.

As expected, the most colorful of them was the 2-kilometer run in carnival costumes, which took place on May 1st. Indians from the Wild West and ancient Romans, Papuans and ninjas, dinosaurs and spidermen, Freddie Mercury and Elvis Presley, easily recognizable movie characters (a few Maleficents, Diva Plavalaguna, Cruella, Trinity)… This noisy multicolored stream started from the central town hall, reminding everyone gathered that the main thing is not victory, but participation and creativity. After all, even those who did not bring a suit with them quickly got out of the situation, running out onto the track in hotel gowns or a stewardess uniform! The most interesting costumes were awarded special prizes from the organizers, and even children in prams and pets took part in this race.

Tests for experienced runners Rosa Peak (7 km), Rosa Green Trail (8.9 km) and Rosa Red Trail (26 km). These tracks passed through mountain waterfalls, steep forest climbs, rocky kurumnik and still snow-covered paths, and they had to run most often during fog. Fans managed to follow the runners not only at the start and finish, but also from above – from the height of the cable car, under which the participants ran.

The Mir PS and SBP (Fast Payments System) supported the runners and took care of them throughout the festival: they were treated to hot tea and chocolate after difficult snow races; set up a beautiful brand zone on the territory of the EXPO sports fair, where runners could relax and recharge their smartphones, and during the closing party they poured cocktails and lemonade to the participants.

For the eighth year in a row, we are launching the summer running season in the picturesque resort of Rosa Khutor. This is a landmark event not only for the Krasnodar Territory, but for the whole country, which annually gathers thousands of joggers from all over Russia. We are very happy to see how people from year to year come here on May holidays to take part in the activities of the festival, enjoy the atmosphere of the mountains and spend time outdoors with the whole family, – said Vladimir Sheikin, CEO of ROSA RUN.
In addition to the races themselves, during the festival days, participants were given training and master classes (for example, in mountain running), interesting lectures with stories from experienced travelers and runners, yoga sessions, stretching and meditation, evening bar quizzes and film screenings for adults and children. Each day was dedicated to a certain side of the world, so the medals that were awarded to all participants depicted an Eskimo, an African mask, an Aztec feathered serpent and a samurai cat. So during the festival it was possible not only to demonstrate your sports training and admire the mountain peaks occasionally appearing through the fog, but also to learn a lot of new things, make friends and enjoy this fun celebration of life.
