Do you dream of luxurious hair? Start eating these foods!

Our beauty depends not only on the procedures we perform and the cosmetics we use, but also on what we eat. In our selection – 5 simple products that should be in your diet if you dream of luxurious hair.

VOICE editors have found out which products are good for healthy and active hair growth.

Don’t take care! In our articles, we collect the latest scientific data and the opinions of authoritative health experts. But remember: only a doctor can diagnose and prescribe treatment.

Bananas

They act on the hair mainly due to the presence of B vitamins. Nutritionist Ksenia Selezneva says: “In addition to dietary fiber and vitamins, bananas contain biotin, which we basically need for health, including the health of our hair. It is called microvitamin or vitamin B7. And biotin deficiency can lead the body to oxidative stress, which is associated with the aging process of the body.. And do not be afraid of the supposedly high calorie content. There are only 90 calories in a banana. This fruit will definitely not cause harm to the figure.

pumpkin seeds

Another important trace element for hair is zinc. Its deficiency in the body does not affect immediately, but in the end it can lead to hair loss or even baldness! Of course, this element is also found in large quantities in oysters, but not everyone can afford them because of the high cost, and pumpkin seeds can be a great alternative. Moreover, they can be added to different dishes or eaten separately. There is much less zinc in sunflower seeds than we are used to. They are less useful and more caloric. Therefore, the choice should be made in favor of pumpkin seeds.

Fiber

The third product on our useful list is sound. The hull of the grain, which becomes waste in the production of high quality flour, is in fact essential for the body in general and the hair in particular. Trichologist Olga Kokhas says: “First of all, they contain B vitamins. That’s great. Because the B group is the growth vitamin B6, vitamin B1 affects all sorts of processes in the muscular system. But in general, their main function is cleaning … And, in principle, bran should be in the diet of every woman. Every day – a spoonful of bran! And it’s not difficult, because there are a lot of options for use. You can add it to kefir or yogurt, you can knead it into a salad or even into soups and meatballs. Of course, it is better to use them in their pure form, but this, however, is not very tasty, so we will not insist.

Liver

Many women are iron deficient due to their natural cycles of blood loss. And this inevitably affects the condition of the hair, especially if the lack is strong and has already led to the development of iron deficiency anemia! The disease, of course, must be treated if it occurs, and the doctor will most likely recommend, among other things, adding liver to the diet, which, like red meat, contains a lot of iron – and is easy for the body to absorb. Doctors are sure that with a lack of iron in the body, hair begins to fall out, therefore experts recommend eating liver and red meat at least once a week. One of the functions of the liver in the body of humans and animals is hematopoiesis, which is why there is a lot of iron – especially beef liver stands out for this! Of course, modern dietetics teaches us that the amount of animal products in the diet should be limited – it is good for health and for the figure. But a complete transition to a vegetable diet, especially not very diverse, can lead to negative consequences.

Eggs

Same for the eggs! They should be consumed regularly. It is generally the undisputed champion of our list in terms of food indicators. For hair, first of all, yolk is needed, which contains vitamins A, D, E and the same group of B vitamins. But the external use of eggs has no scientific basis. According to experts, the benefits of the famous “grandmother’s” recipe of a miraculous egg mask for hair is just a myth.
