Getting a perfectly even haircut can be tricky, but this time-tested layering method is great for beginners.
Gather the hair into a ponytail at the top of the hairline near the forehead (hence the name – the tail should look like a unicorn horn), pull the hair forward and cut the ends.
The sharper the angle, the sharper the transitions of the layers that frame the face will be.
