This hairstyle is perfect for elementary school girls or girls who are still in kindergarten. It can be done on a festive line on September 1 or any other day you want something special, but without long preparation.
A scrunched hairstyle with pigtails is suitable for when you need to keep the hair away from your face so it doesn’t get in the way while studying or doing needlework. This weave looks especially cool in combination with cut bangs. Don’t forget to try a ribbon hairstyle for your young relative if she has bangs!
To create such a hairstyle, you will need several rubber bands for braids, as well as the main accessory – a silk scarf or a wide headband.
- Tie two regular ponytails, approximately at ear level
- Pass the ribbon through the elastics of the ponytails and arrange it so that the ends are the same on both sides
- Braid the ponytails into regular pigtails, using the end of the ribbon instead of one of the strands.
- Secure the ends of the braids with rubber bands
- Pull the braids up so they encircle the head – and tie the ends of the ribbon
If desired, you can fix the hairstyle with hairpins or invisible. However, if the child has thin, light hair, standard tape fixation will suffice.
