Naomi’s Mom: How the Eccentric ‘Black Panther’ Settled Down at 50

In the 80s, Naomi Campbell was recognized as one of the iconic models of her time. Nevertheless, she became famous not only for her beauty and gait, but also for her daring antics. Naomi is known as a brawler and manipulator, in the 90s she often solved problems with aggression – assistants understood this (do you still remember beating Georgina Galanis with a cell phone?), maids, cleaners, doctors, policemen, drivers, paparazzi and even Cara Delevingne. The list is endless.

It is because of her eccentric nature that the supermodel earned the nickname “Black Panther”. Recognizing the problem, Naomi took anger management classes (didn’t help), after a while she was already being treated for cocaine and alcohol addiction (luckily it helped).

Perhaps it was her bad mood that led to the fact that Campbell, although she was always surrounded by men, did not stay with her for long.

In 1993, Naomi was about to marry U2 bassist Adam Clayton. The musician dreamed of meeting a model, which he openly talked about in an interview, and soon their meeting took place. A stormy romance led to an engagement, but soon the two grew tired of the emotional swing and broke up.

Campbell’s 1995 affair with Leonardo DiCaprio was brief but lively. After the star of Titanic, Robert De Niro, Sylvester Stallone, Mike Tyson, Usher, Sean Combson, Hassan Jameel and many other celebrities could not resist the charm of the Black Panther.

In 1998, the top model fell in love with Flavio Briatore, boss of Formula 1, who was 20 years older than her. He would have become her 145th lover. In 2008, Naomi kind of became our own, having an affair with Russian billionaire Vladislav Doronin. This couple immediately caught the eye of the public – a world-famous beauty and a Russian businessman with the appearance of a superhero. They say that as soon as Vladislav saw Naomi, he couldn’t stop thinking about her and did everything to reach her location.

Campbell’s fans around the world were struck by the fact that next to the handsome Russian, her rebellious temper calmed down: she became more accommodating, gentle, calm. “From the outside, he may seem like a tough person, but in fact it’s hard to find a gentler and more caring man. And he was the one who taught me to really love, to be more tolerant, ” said Naomi in love.

Their five-year romance was like a fairy tale. Campbell moved to his beloved in Moscow, confessed his love to the Russian capital, planned to settle here and even convert to Orthodoxy. But even such grandiose plans did not lead to marriage or children.
