Paraguayan businesswoman Gabriela Guillen has addressed reports that her past relationship with footballer Cristiano Ronaldo may have overlapped with his romance with Georgina Rodriguez.
Guillen became an unexpected focus of attention following the Portuguese star's recent wedding to Rodriguez, despite not attending the ceremony. Reports emerged that Guillen and Ronaldo had previously maintained a secret relationship, a claim she first disclosed off camera to fellow contestants on the reality show Supervivientes before publicly confirming it.
Guillen, who is also known in Spain for her past relationship with singer and television presenter Bertin Osborne, insisted that her romance with the former Real Madrid and Manchester United forward belongs to her past and that she does not regret it.
Questions over the timing of the relationship arose after Guillen stated that her romance with Ronaldo lasted for two years. Ronaldo separated from Russian model Irina Shayk in early 2015 before beginning his relationship with Rodriguez in the summer of 2016, leaving a gap of roughly 18 months between his public relationships.
