‘Hey, Drake, go drink it…’ shouted the spectators from the electronic music stage of the festival; the rapper canceled his show at the last minute
Dubdogz and Kvsh made a very direct criticism of the singer dragon during their show at Lollapalooza Brazil 2023 in the late afternoon of this Sunday 26. After playing a remix of the song God’s planby the American rapper, Kvsh walked up to the microphone and led the chorus along with the audience: “Hey Drake, go get him…”. The trio’s good-natured tone started even before Dubdogz and Kvsh appeared on stage at Perry’s By Johnnie Walker Blonde at Lollapalooza, when a video featuring TikTok influencer Matheus Costa was shown on the screen alongside his father, ‘Seu Zé’ (known for the viral video on social networks), presentation of the artists and countdown with the public.

The similarity between the artists on stage is not accidental: the duo Dubdogz is formed by the twins Marcos and Lucas Ruback Schmidt. Accompanied by Kvsh, from Minas Gerais, wearing a cap, they started the show with their version of Psycho Killer. The rest of the repertoire was quite varied, including variations on electronic music classics such as Sandstorm (Darude) and Levels (Avicii), passing through Matuê’s trap and even the soundtrack of the Harry Potter films.
The audience was particularly enthusiastic when he sang songs by Nobody Taught Me (Lagum) and Bad Guy (Billie Eilish). Besides, of course, the insults to Drake.
