The police invasion was triggered by a lawsuit between production company Ver Ver Entertainment and Sean Kingston, filed in February this year. The lawsuit also points out that Kingston had promised to produce promotional videos featuring Bieber to reduce his claims with the company in the price of the items purchased. However, they discovered that the singer “did not have any ongoing working relationship” with Hailey Bieber’s husband.

Additionally, the complaint alleges that the singer breached his contract by avoiding payment after multiple collection attempts in January of this year, as well as stating that he “has a long history of fraudulent behavior.”

Ver Ver Entertainment also points out that a judgment was made against Sean Kingston in 2015, after he obtained $356,000 worth of watches without paying for the items. Further sentences were issued between 2016 and 2022, when the artist allegedly purchased more than $1 million worth of jewelry and luxury accessories without payment.
