Nick Souza: “It is a festival that wants to remove this pejorative image of dance”
“It is a festival that wants to remove this pejorative image of dances. In addition to artistic attractions, we will have spaces for the family, inflatable games, music for children and much more to bring the young people of the community to experience unforgettable days. It is, in fact, a project to break a great prejudice about urban culture festivals, and try to do something more controlled, with more safety, to unite the community instead of dividing it. I am working with local artists who will perform to define the repertoire with a ‘family’ language”comments Nick Souza.
Nick Souza says that the opportunity to become a curator arose at the invitation of DJ Puffevent producer. The musician is the manager of Puffe Records and organized the festival with the aim of bringing culture Diadem in collaboration with the Municipality. Puffe has more than 10 year career and more than 65 thousand monthly listeners on Spotify.
“I wanted to highlight artists who sing lyrics without profanity, offensive words or words that might condone crime. We want an event that can reach all ages, with stories of overcoming that inspire everyone,” it ends Nick Souza.
