Spanish television personality Rosa Benito has launched a bitter attack against former friend Belen Esteban, calling her a very bad person on television.
Benito, the former wife of Amador Mohedano and sister-in-law of singer Rocio Jurado, stated that time has made her realize that people she once loved and shared experiences with can turn out to be malicious.

The two television commentators were once close confidantes, but their relationship has deteriorated into an irreconcilable public feud marked by sharp exchanges.
Accusations of television attacks
Speaking about Esteban, who was historically dubbed the princess of the people on Spanish television, Benito said her former friend had been a very bad person toward her. Benito alleged that when Esteban worked on another television show, she repeatedly badmouthed Benito and her family members.
Benito explained that she and her inner circle were left without a platform or space on that program to defend themselves against the criticism. She added that she never felt the need to defend herself publicly because she knew who she was, noting that she had changed significantly for the better over time.

Support for Julia Janeiro
Benito also publicly aligned herself with Julia Janeiro in Janeiro's ongoing disagreement with Esteban. Benito expressed strong support for the young woman, calling her brave and stating that she had clearly suffered a great deal, echoing comments Janeiro had made herself.
The tension between Esteban and Janeiro escalated following reports of a secret meeting in which Esteban was allegedly urged to target Janeiro through an exclusive media story. Janeiro subsequently responded by warning Esteban that if she remained silent, it was only out of respect for her sister.
Reality television return at age 70
The feud comes as Benito prepares to make her return to the reality competition show Supervivientes All Stars. In a promotional video for the series, Benito insisted that her comeback was not driven by nostalgia, financial necessity, or a desire for television airtime.
Speaking visibly emotionally, the media personality aged 70 stated that she wanted to use her platform to act as a voice for women of her age and demonstrate what they could achieve. Benito acknowledged that while her age could be viewed as an obstacle, she considered it her strongest asset when connecting with viewers.
