George Clooney revealed an unusual story from the days before he became famous: he managed to irritate Frank Sinatra. The revelation took place at the premiere of his new film, Jay Kelly, in Los Angeles
The Hollywood star George Clooney He said that, before becoming an actor, he worked as a driver for his aunt, the late singer Rosemary Clooney.
“I was my aunt’s driver Rosemary when she was singing”he said Clooney the People. “I was able to drive [ela] and Tony Bennettand all these wonderful singers for a year. I got a great life lesson about success and failure, and how to deal with it.”
It was during this period that he came across Frank Sinatra — and got scolded. Clooney recalled that he led a boycott related to “some press freedoms”which, somehow, had an unexpected consequence: “He called me because people thought he [Sinatra] he was sick and there were helicopters flying over his house“, he explained.
The call was not friendly. “He called me and said, ‘What you’re doing isn’t working!’”had fun Clooney. “He was great. I got yelled at by Frank Sinatra!”
The irony is that one of Clooney, Ocean’s Eleven (2001), was a remake of a 1960 film starring himself Sinatra and his group “Rat Pack”. Clooneyin fact, confirmed that Ocean’s 14 (probably Ocean’s Fourteen) is expected to begin filming in 2026, with the return of Brad Pitt and Matt Damon.
