The British woman was so afraid of wrinkles that she didn’t smile for 40 years – the result will surprise you!

A master class for those who can’t stop smiling in serious moments: Tess Christian has learned so much to control her emotions that even the birth of her daughter hasn’t made her stop her long-winded experiment and smile. And all this so as not to “spoil” the face with wrinkles.

According to Tess Christian’s social media, you’ll never realize this woman hasn’t smiled for most of her life. She shares photos of culinary masterpieces, beautiful flowers in the garden and pets, talks about her wonderful granddaughter – it seems that she knows how to appreciate the gifts of fate and sees joy in everyday life. But in reality, neither bouquets, nor her granddaughter’s pranks, nor a birthday cake will make Tess smile – that’s what she decided more than forty years ago.

As a teenager, Christian realized that perfect skin would not stay with her all her life, and if she wanted to maintain a fulfilled appearance, she would one day have to turn to a beautician. This idea did not please the British woman at all, because she did not want to resort to Botox on principle. The decision is radical: not to use the muscles of the face at all, so as not to tighten the skin and not cause the appearance of wrinkles.

“Everyone asks me if I got Botox bells, but I haven’t because I haven’t laughed or smiled since I was a teenager. My dedication has paid off, I don’t have a single wrinkle on the face, ”Tess boasts. She achieved amazing results not without difficulty: she says that at first it was difficult to cope with the task and strained her face with all her might so as not to smile.

Over time, it became easier, so much so that even the birth of a daughter did not cause the British woman to show emotions. “After the birth of my daughter Stevie, I was overwhelmed with joy, but I still didn’t feel the need to smile,” says Tess. This is self-control!

Friends call Christian “Mona Lisa” – due to the fact that she spent more than forty years of her life with an expression of mysterious detachment on her face. We can assume that the experiment was a success: in the photo below, Tess is in her twenties, in the photo above – 50. And she hasn’t changed much! Another question is whether this eternal youth was worth such sacrifices?..
